The conical rounder is ideal for rounding both soft and medium doughs. Rounding is achieved by a rotating cone that moves the dough along a concave, spiral-shaped path, resulting in a spherical dough shape.

The machine can be equipped with a hot-cold air blowing system, making it suitable for processing wet dough as well. It includes an automatic flour duster that is easily removable for cleaning. The spirals are Teflon-coated to prevent dough sticking.
