DIRECT GAS FIRED TUNNEL OVEN

DIRECT GAS FIRED TUNNEL OVEN

The direct flame tunnel oven is especially used in the production of crackers and laminates due to its high heat transfer, primarily by radiation.

Numerous sword burners are installed transversely to the direction of the tunnel oven’s travel, both in the upper and lower parts of the conveyor, allowing flexible cooking according to needs. Approximately 15% of these burners are tri-flame, offering the ability to adjust power settings independently on the left, center, and right sides to ensure uniform cooking across the entire width of the conveyor belt. Each burner is equipped with a double gas safety valve and dedicated flame control. They can use natural gas or LPG interchangeably thanks to a simple recalibration of each burner’s mixer. Aspiration is ensured by a central duct that provides consistent suction with minimal turbulence.
